MEET BOLD

Happy December Friends...
And a happy wedding Anniversary to me.... yeaaaahhh, i can't believe 4years has passed and it still feels like yesterday, yes, 4 years of  Tender loving and care (TLC).
I can't thank God enough for this beautiful experiences in these past 4 years, I can remember when i was still very single, i use to imagine what it will feel like to be married, hahahaha, it is a wonderful experience i tell you,

Last week, i shared with you the thought process that lead to the creation of our very first Collection,
And i remember telling you that there are several stages in a woman life, and each stage comes with its own challenge.

Yes, being a married woman and a mother of 2 is a very beautiful thing, but it also comes with its challenges, and how i have been able to manage these challenges so far, that is a story for another day.

Today, we present to you our Second look.

I call her BOLD. She knows and accepts her weaknesses, she understands that these weaknesses will make her strong, so She embraces it, and decides to add colors to her life no matter how challenging things turns out.

Each step she takes, each decision she makes, She chooses to be bold and face her giants courageously, till her life becomes very colorful.

She is Bold and Confident,

OH THIS LIFE

Hello friends,
Feels good to have you here again. Sometimes ago i shared with you my journey towards overcoming my fears, Well today, i am so excited to present to you my first collection. The name of This collection is LIFE.
Yes, LIFE can be complicated you know? Sometimes so exciting, full of laughter, Achievements, Fulfillment.. etc. While other times we are faced with Giants, difficult situations that leave us breathless.

The attitude, towards how we respond to these Challenges matter a lot. Deciding to deal with these giants with the right attitude will make us better and stronger and Choosing to see the bright side of every challenge is like adding colors to our difficult situations.

So i thought to myself, how do i connect to my customer's daily challenges, how do i help them understand that our challenges only make us better people and i came up with this thought process.

Let me share with you the thought process of this collection.
Meet LOOK 1.

I call her STRONG (smiling), Wana know why? these are the design details and the reasons.

1. she has a COWL neck and a PLEATED FLARE: This design detail represents different stages in a woman's life, every stage comes with its own challenge.
2. HIGH - LOW: This detail represents the different moments in our lives. The happy moments and Sad times.

Then the fabrics we have used for this collection also played a great role too.
We call her STRONG because she is faced with challenges that could make her life plain and empty (Plain Royal Blue Chiffon) but she faces her giant squarely, and purposely choose to live a more colorful life ,( the colorful Ankara Silk)

With such attitude, I tell you she will Overcome every of her giants.

AM TIRED JOOR

Hello Friend,

I trust your week went beautifully well, and was not as stressful as mine. Yesterday, i left the house feeling really fine, ready to go shop for Fabrics, then i got to my Client's office and my body system totally changed, i started feeling serious pains from the left side of my Tommy through the left side of my legs, Surprised at how i felt, i cancelled all my plans and went striaght to the hospital. I feel better today, Thank God.

So this week i faced some Challenges, which slowed my work down.
This week's Challenges were:

1. Power: Power has been steady for sometime now, but this week, PHCN decided to slow my work down, i could sew my cloths using the power that came from the Generator, but i couldn't steam my clothes. Sewing without steaming, would be like cooking without salt.

2. Machines: I am still trying to understand why Machines begin to act up, especially when you need to get jobs done Urgently. It takes me less than 2min" to Over-lock a dress when sewing, but this time, i spent over an hour Over-locking a dress. The Machine needle got broken, threads kept breaking, honestly, I was Frustrated.

3. Clients Jobs: while working  on my Collections, i also needed to attend to Clients Jobs. My clients are very important to the growth of my business, therefore i must Deliver on time.

Several times this week, i felt like giving up on the collections, but i kept at it.

My WINS

A mist these Challenges, i was able to Make 2 dresses. Though am not able to meet the deadline of the Company, I am glad i could still do something.
The good news is my deadline has been extended to the end of this Month. I trust all things will work out for my good this week.

What were your goals for this week/month? would you please share your Challenges? were you able achieve anything this week?  please Comment and share your thoughts, you could be encouraging someone today.

Do have relaxing weekend.
